Your child has so much to say...

But sometimes, they aren't able to express it. You've been watching, waiting — and now you're trusting your instincts. I'm here to walk with you through the next step.I'm Sarah Chu, a mobile speech-language pathologist serving North Dallas families. No waiting rooms, long drives, or figuring it out alone. I come straight to your home, your school, or right to your screen.

early language support changes everything

Early support doesn't mean something is seriously wrong. It means you showed up for your child before the window closed. I've spent over a decade working alongside families in schools, hospitals, and clinics — and the ones who came in early always felt glad they did. Now I bring that same care straight to you, in the space where your child is most themselves.

Speech & Language Therapy

Your child has so much going on inside — thoughts, feelings, whole worlds they want to share. When the words aren't coming, or the sounds aren't quite clear yet, it doesn't mean something is permanently wrong. It means they need a little support finding their way.Is your child hard to understand — even to you?
Getting frustrated when no one follows what they're saying?
Using fewer words than other kids their age?
Let's talk. I'd love to hear about your child.

Bilingual Language Development

A child hearing Korean only at home and English only at school has a completely different profile than one hearing both all day. Your child's language environment is specific, and their support should be too, in Korean and in English. I assess the whole picture, not just half of it.Are you wondering if speaking Korean at home is causing a delay?
Need a professional who can understand your family from a cultural perspective?
Let's talk. Your child deserves to be supported from someone who understands all of them.

early literacy skills

You noticed your child isn't connecting letters to sounds the way their classmates are. Or maybe storytime feels like a struggle instead of something they look forward to. Kindergarten feels closer every day and something in you wants to get ahead of it.Is your child having trouble recognizing letters or their sounds?
Do they struggle to follow along with simple stories?
Are you wondering if they'll be ready when school starts?
Let's talk. Early is always the right time.

Parent Coaching & Education

The most important therapy doesn't always happen in a session or with a therapist. It happens at breakfast when you're trying to get your toddler to use their words. During bath time when they're finally relaxed and talking. On the drive to school when they're being silly in the backseat. Those moments are where language actually grows — and I want to empower you with the right strategies so you know exactly how to respond.Ever feel like you don't know how to respond when your child struggles to communicate?
Already attend speech therapy but want to seamlessly utilize the same strategies on your own?
Let's talk. The most powerful thing for your child's progress is you.

About sarah

I've sat on a lot of living room floors

to tell you that meeting your child where they feel most confident to be themselves — does wonders to their development.I'm Sarah Chu, a licensed speech-language pathologist with over a decade of experience across school districts, hospitals, and clinics in the Los Angeles, Orange County and Dallas area. I started this practice because I kept meeting families who needed more than a waiting room and a referral. They needed someone who would show up — literally — and walk with their child through the growth journey. As a bilingual Korean-American mom, I also understand what it means to raise a child between two languages and two cultures. Being able to provide services in our heritage language is my greatest joy.

we're a perfect match if...

We both know that finding the right professional for your child is the most important. Every family I work with is different, but the ones who have found their way usually have a few things in common:

  • You want to stop guessing and learn exactly how to support their skills at home

  • You want to reduce tantrums and meltdowns that come with difficulty communicating

  • You've tried other methods but they aren't working

  • You're raising your child in Korean and English and want to know how to promote both

  • You want therapy that fits into your life and schedule

  • You've been put on a waiting list, in groups too large, or considered "not eligible" from your district
